HH100 Motor now what!
I was taking the cable of my HH100 Motor and it started to move internally, I put a common screwdriver inside the receptacle to hold nut so I could take coax fitting off. Well it would not work after this so took it apart and as you see from picture below it broke the fitting inside. A real Mickey Mouse setup they should have put a lock washer behind the nut. Anyway be careful if you have this motor it is real easy to screw this up. Now where do I get this fitting??

Not sure where you can get that part, but you could probably solder it back on and if you can't get solder to hold it to the board, just use (my fix-all favorite) jb-weld to hold it to the board... then carefully reinsert the whole thing and use a lock washer with your install.
I had a similar problem with an SG2100, but it appears that the connector is not soldered on this unit, as it was a simple barrel connector that just screwed out of the device. Screwing the barrel connector back in tighly seemed to have fixed my problem.

I thought of that too but the fitting has a lip on both sides or did have----and looks like it makes contact on each side of the board. On back side it has a long lip and makes contact on each side of lip. Really afraid of shorting something out. Contacted Sadourn but hard to get answer from them.
Thanks, for your reply

If that was mine, I'd
1) take a short piece of RG-6 and solder center conductor and solder it to the board at appropriate spots
2) reinstall with the pigtail hanging out of original hole.
3) seal with silicone.
4) solder the center conductor to a barrel connector and ground to the outside part
hook it up and watch TV

I have an HH100 (new from Sadoun) that is only about two months old. One of the coax connectors came loose from the motor housing, but the motor is working well at present. I have worked on electronic equipment for over 40 years and I did NOT over tighten any coax cable fittings on this HH100.
Will Sadoun repair/replace the board under warranty? Must I return the entire HH100 assembly and place my satellite system out of service while Sadoun does the repair/replacement? Alternately, will Sadoun send me the board which I will replace and then send the deffective board back to Sadoun?
Please advise.

I am having a lot of problems with my HH100 motor as well. I bought this thinking it was one of the best motors sold. It is a little over a year old. Now I can't get it to stick on any satellite, it just moves back and forth and stops on zero. Sadoun what kind of warrenty is on these? Can I ship it back for a swap. Unless my reciever is not working correctly either, but it makes a weird sound inside the motor casing that I don't remember hearing when I first set it up leading me to believe that motor has gone bad. I have gone through all the troubleshooting short leads from the reciever to the motor. I can't watch any FTA as of right now as it won't move to any satellites any more besides moving all crazy.
Frustrated to say the least..

STAB motors are covered by 3 year mfg warranty. You will need to send it to STAB/Fortec service center (Sadoun does not do warranty service on these motors). Email them to request an RMA.
If in the future you need to buy replacement parts, we have them on our website.
