agreed Jamal it would be nice to see. GM and Ford needs to do like Chrysler and start changing their designs a little more often.it about put Chrysler under in the early 80's fresh ideas that's all they need.![]()
I used to work for GM back in the early nineties. I was a manufacturing/mechanical engineer responsible for over 300 part numbers that go on the Full size truck, S-10 pickup, Caprice, Camaro, and Firebird.
My responsibilities covered products from concept to post-production. During my weekly trips to the different assembly plants, I used to drive a different car everytime from a pool of new model cars the company had available for us at the factory. It was fun to drive around the 1993 Chevy camaro (new body style) before it was available to the public.![]()
I hope GM gets the chance to come back and become a market leader again. But with Toyota and Honda around, it is becoming more and more difficult.![]()

Star Choice should be on the list (Canadian). They have more HD channels than Bell at cheaper rates. The quality is superior (my opinion). Star Choice supports taking our receivers in an RV (supplies an extra dish free) whereas Bell cuts your service off if they find you have taken your receiver away from your primary residence.
For as much as I like to help out our members I simply do not have time to answer Private Messages or emails asking about setup and other general issues. Please post your questions in the forums and we will try to help you out. Thanks.

...Good line of site, but they said I had reflection problems. Any experience with this?...
They might be talking about terrestrial interference. It's difficult to prove with a signal strength meter which is what most of those guys have. You really need to have a spectrum analyzer to determine that. Always possible the guy got frustrated and started making stuff up though.
Terrestrial interference is in-band noise, although this is much more prevalent with C-band, particularly in America where flight and maritime altimeter/radar is about 3.1-3.7 GHz. Sometimes those frequencies resonate up into the C-band range. I have seen several occasions where L-band noise (950-1450MHZ typically) ingresses into the system through crimp style or otherwise loose or bad connectors. Additionally, any electrical arcing can cause TI. A/C units kicking on, street lights - I once troubleshot a system that it turned out to be a bad spark plug in a lawnmower. That was a month of my life I'll never get back.
Dish and Direct both have pretty good HD, your TV sometime can be a biggger factor LOL![]()
