Factory software is already loaded to the receiver. No other software needed. Just point your dish and scan the FTA satellite you need.
hi guys i am new to this can anyone tell me which software i need to download the program into my dish i have FTA CLASSIC NA and i bought the rs 232 cable wire any1 to help me how to do this thanks

Perfect answer vj9999. But, it will be of no help because it is obvious that this person cannot READ or they would not have made such an inquiry on a board such as this. We all know there are plenty of OTHER places to be stupid and to be a THIEF too!

Hi,
Perhaps he's talking about the new firmware v1.1 from Fortec's own website to be updating his firmware?
I am in the same situation... There doesnt seem to be any description on what Fortec's own firmware upgrade changes. My firmware is dated Oct 2005, and the one on the site is like Feb 2006.
