OpenBox S9 HD PVR recording issue...

    OK,

LOVE the Openbox! One small issue with recording. When I set the timers for different shows (with the Record service) and then put the unit in standby, it doesn't record.

    THEN...

When I set the timers for different shows (with the Record service) and leave the unit on, it DOES record!

    BUT...

When a recording is finished, it puts the unit in standby again.

    THIS MEANS...

If I have a list of recordings only the first one will work. The rest will simply turn on the unit and turn it off again.

    WHAT CAN I DO??

According the the unit I am at firmware version:
    C2HS2-11-08-24:0679CMT

When recording leave the receiver on dont use standby the other issue is normal the receiver resets after the first one records and the time and date get lost. You can live with with with the rest of up I guess???

If you set the clock to get the time from the satellite insted of seting it manuely,
set your programing acording to the time you recieve from the sat.
when you power back on after the recording ends. the reciever resets the clock from the satellite and the next record setting will still run .If the second recording is on a different sat then then the clock will reset to that sat . The next programed set to record will have to be based on the time on that sat ect. If you have a fixed dish you can set a channel change between recordings to turn on to a channel on the fixed dish. and the clock will always reset to the same time.

    Good luck
