Thats because there is no real time clock intergrated chip in this receiver. So the time is not stored if you use the pvr feature the time and date resets after program has finished recording. I can live with this since the receiver was cheap and supports DVB-S2
Frisky is using:
SkyHawk PVR 800 Receiver (old smokey)
Fortec 33inch Ku Band Dish, DG-240 Motor, Universal Ku Band LNB.
Unimesh 7.5 foot C/Ku Band Dish, DMX741 Dual LNB C/Ku Band, 24 inch Actuator Von Weis,
SatHawk GBox Actuator Controller
I like to shop at Sadoun Satellite Sales in Houston, TX http://sadoun.com
IN the day and age you think storing a clock time would be a non- issue. I was thinking about getting an S9 but I don't understand what makes the one sold as Seahawk any better or worse then other ones I seen for less. It has to store the time geez.
We will look into changing the F/W to make the receiver stay ON after a reordering is done.
As it is right now, the receiver goes on standby when the scheduled recording is finished. Thus, the clock resets. If the receiver stays ON, the clock remains fine.
Is there a projected date for this F/W update?
