    Well I was under the understanding I was getting one for father's day. The Viewsat Max hd works pretty good that I figured out the DVB-S2 its just the blind scan that stinks. I use my Fortec for that. I hope to have it soon!

    Don, you will not go wrong with the SatHawk PVR800 as far as Blind Search. Rock solid.

    I agree. The NBC feeds in HD are amazing. Also, you can select the audio (i.e. with the feeds) if multiple audio streams are included with the broadcast.

    My Viewsat Max hd does hd now so I'm addicted already to FTA hd. The Viewsat has built in AC3 decoder too. I have the Sonic Voom put away so I will have to hook it up again. I will use my Viewsat on my basement tv then.
