what receiver was you using?
I have a strange problem that has even Bill the Sadoun rep confused.
When I first set up my system (Star.33" dish), I zeroed in my dish by using a tone that was coming out of the receiver thru my stero receiver and thru my speakers. I live in a high wind area so I have to adjust my dish often which is located on my roof. So what I would do is go to ant. set-up turn up the volume climb on the roof and listen for the beeps. The faster the beeps the better signal I was getting. Then all of sudden my beeps quite working.
Thats when I called Sadoun and they have never heard of such a thing. I have used this procedure 10 times or so with no problems.
Has anybody experienced this.

I have encountered this problem too, but not very often. Even though I have the "Signal Beep" option selected, once in a while certain transponders, instead of giving me a % quality, will give me nothing, and the beeping will stop. Very odd, but it happens once in a while. All I do is switch to another live transponder to peak up the signal.
