Pls help with install password

Hello to Everyone,
I have a TFC ABS-CBN receiver SMP - 6240. I want to get FTA channels. I need the password to the installation page of programming. I have tried 0000, 1111, 9999. None of which work. I bought this unit used and the previous owner forgot the password. Thanks in advance!

you might be out of luck.

I know of no way to change an unknown user protection password.

You might be able to locate "reset factory defaults" option and try that one. If it uses a different password that the user lock password it might reset the whole unit so 0000 or 1111 might work - assuming you can get past that and the system password in the programming is different than the user lock password.
