Some Transponders Work/Not Work !!!
Some Transponders Work/Not Work !!!
I have a Pansat system with an LNB pointed to 119. Unfortunately, a few of my transponders are showing zero quality. When I try to peak my LNB, I'll some times get 43 TP's and some times get 32 TP's. But regardless of how many times I try to adjust my LNB, a few TP's still have zero quality (usually horizontal). Pls. advise & all responses are appreciated!
Also, when changing channels, I have quality of 75%+ but no picture on 119 ... why? How?
Pansat 2700 - 85cm Dish - Zip 98012.
Thanks Much!

Thank You!
Thanks Rainman, I appreciate your feedback! Also, is there any way to tweak your LNB's instead of buying a Birddog? I get 75% on some TP's but 35% on others for 110 & 119. Pls. Advise.
Happy Holidayz to you !!!

you will have to use bird dog or take receiver and tv to dish to watch the signal.

the transponders that you get very low quality on probably means that those TPs are the ones that have local channels and their spot beams are not aiming at your geographical location but are "spilling over" to your area.. therefore having weak signal.

Um, i could be wrong but... (been there, done that.)
119 require a dss type circular lnb attached to your dish
with a diseqc switch or using a LH/RH polarity dedicated minidish,
you may not get all the freqs you tune to because some of them
will miss the polarity from your H/V type lnb.

Hi Druzetito,
I also have a Pansat 2700A with a similar problem; some TP’s always have a low signal. I have good signal lock on most TP’s. I have even tried to tweak those TP’s, no matter what I try, these TP’s always read low. I thought for a long time there was a problem, either with my LNBF, receiver, or maybe my dish size was too small. I never considered the possibility of “spillover”. Thanks for this thought, explains a lot.
