I was not about to give that site my email address, so I couldn't find out what they are proposing, however my guess is that it is a hacking site. I would recommend that you avoid it.
However, there is nothing "secret" about being able to receive satellite on your computer. There are a bunch of computer PCI card receivers, and a few USB receivers that tune DVB. Basically anything described in Lyngsat as Free DVB could be received on one of these receivers. However "Free DVB" or FTA, is not what many people think it is. Some people think that FTA means that you can receive all the subscription channels like on
DTV/Dishnet, but this isn't the case. FTA refers to a collection of channels that are not subscription channels. For the most part, these are not premium channels, and not cable like channels, but are 2nd tier networks, foreign language programs, occasional sports and news feeds, PBS, and things like this. If you are expecting this to be a replacement for DTV/Dishnet, then you will be dissappointed. There are LOTS of channels up there, but they are not your usual able type channels.
