Digipower SG2100 verse SM3D22

What is the Difference in the Digipower SG2100 Motor and the SM3D22?
Is one better than the other?

I have a 2100, and it works fine for me. It does have plastic gears though. Some motors have metal gears. I'm not sure about the SM3D22.
That internal DiseqC switch mentioned above seems to be a problem/annoyance to some, although there are times when it could be handy. I would prefer to use a separate switch myself. One less thing to go wrong with the motor. Hate to have to replace a motor just because the switch went bad. I'd rather replace a $5 external switch than an expensive motor.

SG2100 supposed to have wider "Horizon-to-Horizon" angle: 75º+75º VS. 50+50 of SM3D22

The manual on my Sadoun SG2100 says 75 degrees East and West, but it will only go about 68 degrees and doesn't have a limit adjustment to extend it. Still better than the range on the SM3D22.

Is your 68 degrees based on the angle that the motor is turning, or the difference in longitude? Ie to move to a sat that is 68 degrees different in longitude, your motor has to turn pretty close to 75 deg, so I'm wondering if you're just using the wrong angle?

I stand corrected. I based my remarks on longitude difference. Never thought of motor angle. Thanks Wejones, I finally understand. I have always thought that I should be able to get satellites 75 degrees East & West of true south. You guys are great!
