Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who provided a lot of good detail for me in setting up my new system. I certainly made my share of mistakes, like lining up on the Circular LNB output (QPH031) then trying to use the Linear to find the birds, what a pain. As soon as I realized my mistake, I lined it up correctly to the south sat, made my east-west fine tuning and now I simply select the satellite using USALS, the motor turns, I do a power scan, and whadayaknow, I get channels. Pretty cool!
The best part is the tons of music channels I'm getting. The news feeds are pretty funny to watch but my wife doesn't see the humor. Now my son-in-law wants me to help hime install a system.
