Fortec Star Mercury II

Does anyone know how to tell if a Fortec Mercury II is an original or a clone. I bought a used one on ebay, cheap, 1/2 retail, that will be delivered Saturday. I contacted the seller before I bought it to verify the ad info that said it was an original and only 1 month old. He emailed back that he had bought it from Sadoun (that was a relief-hope he did) and that he was moving & didn't need it. The guy has 100% feedback on about 250 buys & sells, he mostly buys. I have looked on the internet and haven't found anything on the Mercury II. Any links or info would be appreciated.

check sites fortec star or sadoun.com both have some good info on the Mercury II.

I've been looking on both sites, but haven't seen anything that identifies clones. I probably need to wait until I get the receiver then send pictures. Just trying to find out now to justify refund from buyer if it isn't original. I have always had good experience on ebay & this one will probably turn out the same. (It was sooo cheap)
