Is there any special paint one can use for ku band satellite dish or the dish network dish to make it look good.
How can one calculate a dish network focal lenght?

you don't want to use a hi gloss paint a flat paint is recommened.

This is the second time you posted that, and the first time I was confused, because over the years, this has been a frequently asked question in many internet groups, and the answer always is, that it doesn't matter, so I was curious why you said that..... then, just as I was about to start typing this response to ask WHY, I remembered..... solar outage period.... I have heard stories about people spraying water on their dish during a solar outage, and frying their lnbf due to the reflection of the sun. Can I assume that solar reflection is the reason not to use high gloss??

yep thats the reason Bill hi gloss paint will reflect the sun rays on the lnb and fry it.

Probably would be a good idea to steer away from radar-absorption paint that they use on stealth bombers, in case you happen to have some of that in your garage or basement.

Yeah, my neighbor asked me if I was going to paint the dish to match the house, then he aksed me if I could get Mars with it.
