Ok, I've been plaing with my 8' while waiting on the vbox2.
I've haven't made any adjustments but only swung the dish towards the west because the arm is almost all the way in. I was just trying to see what this used dish was pointing to last. I pick up only 2 channels.
RFD and some gospel/christian channel. I check with lyngsat and the closes match is Horz. but everything didn't match.
Heres my scan:
MercuryII
RFD TV
4184/H/4414
Video PID 308
Audio PID 256
PCR PID 308
SID 1
The other channel:

Video 33
Audio 36
Pcr 33
SID 1
I'm not for sure which bird I'm on.
I even tried using a
birdog today to see with no luck. I tried ku and c and even tried linear settings on the birdog. My lnb is
BSC621-2 C/KU Band LNBF.
On using the birdog I would not connect the c and ku together. I would hook the the c port for the
c-band and ku for the ku side.
Anyway my positioner should be here tomorrow the vbox2. Far as I can tell just run the dish out until it's at the top of the arc then find my due south sat which should be 95 Galaxy 3C. I'm at Lat. 34.8N and Long. 94.6 Since the dish I got was from the same zip code I may not need to do much adjustment, hopefully. Any helpful hints?
Thanks
