    Galaxy10 Channels

I have a Fortec Star Mercury II receiver. For some reason I can no longer receive some of the stations on Galaxy10 Ku such as the various RTN and MyNetwork TV channels. They simply stopped working. I did a factory reset on the receiver and then went back in and did a PowerScan, but now these channels are not detected. I can receive other channels from this Sat (about 115 mostly non-English). I can also receive stations from other satellites as well. Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Galaxy 10R (123W) has no channels left on it. If you are receiving foreign channels, you are most likely on Galaxy 19 (97W).

Those channels were owned by Equity Broadcasting who filed bankruptcy April 16, 2009. As a result many of the frequencies were sold off or just went dark.
Politicians should be required to wear uniforms like NASCAR drivers so we would know who their corporate sponsors are.
