I need some help...does anyone know what happened. I was able to get NASA on Echostar 7, 12370/R/2000 I did power scan and auto scan nothing. It still shows there in Lyngsat. I hope I can still get it somewhere. I installed the QPH-031 LNB to get it.

Thanks rainman..........I installed the switch and LNB in Sept. it was working fine.......I have found that the 22khz switch is not working, it stuck in the "OFF" position, I have Circular on the "ON" side of switch, and it is not switching. The problem started when it got cold outside, teens at night and 20s during the day. Do you know if these switches are affected by cold temp's. Now I have to determine if it is the receiver (MercuryII) or switch (S-SM21H).
Jim
Does anybody know if the S-SM21H switch is affected by cold temps. Mine seened to have quit when it got colder, teens at night and 20's during the day. It won't switch? I have read that the DiSEqC switch's work find in the cold. I am thinking about changing to DiSEqC.
My 22khz is only 3 months old, maybe it just gave-up the ghost. I know it's only 10 bucks for a new one, it's fun to gripe.
Jim
I replaced the 22khz switch and it seems to be working, but we will see.
I believe the 22KHz switch has a relay inside that may have been affected by the below freezing weather. In this case a DiSEqC switch is recommended
Thank you...........I may have to change it I noticed that after I replaced it, the new one worked, but seemed to not work as quickly as the time moved on or as the switch got colder. I have the switch that I removed I think I will see how that one will work after it has warmed up.
Later; Jim
