AMC4 Satellite

Hi, I am tunning my Satcruiser 101 plus to AMC4. I like to watch the BVN channel. I also see that the biography and weather channel are on the same sat. My issue is that Lyngus says that BVN is 12120 V with s/r 30000, but I am really receiving it at 11986 V. Is my equipment faulty?

Also, I can't even switch to see the WX and Bio channels, they just don't come up on those freq's and s/r's?

Any thought?

does anybody know what is going on with the biography channel on amc 4. it is blocked since few days ago. also txtn from Texas is moved to galaxy 23. Where in the world is glaxay 23? At what degree in the sky? I can not find galaxy 23 on lyngsat. If anybody knows please reply.

Galaxy 23 is at 121 W. Those channels on Amc4 scramble or change to another channel sometimes.

Pete, info on Lyngsat sometime is wrong or outdated. Use your blind search receiver to scan the satellite. That is the best way to find out what is available on any satellite. That is the beauty of BLIND SEARCH

thanks satnutwillb for your info. I will look for lxcn on 121 to see if it is completly scrammbled or still free.
Also biography is back after two weeks and I received an email from A&E that they are looking into it.
