italian channels on 43.0 w, need help

    Hi Guys,

I bought a 88cm dish and universal linear lnbf from Sadoun about a year ago and i had it on a motor and was getting sats from 72w up to 121w.

I took it off the motor and tried to find the 12050 TP on the 43W sat. but i had no luck at all.

I live in western CT and was wondering if anyone thinks that my dish might be too small. I have a clear shot at the direction it needs to be at. Should i move up to a 105cm dish? Has anyone else in this area gotten these channels to come in?

    Thanks,
    BIG-AL

    A bigger dish certainly wouldn't hurt , Intelsat 3R at 43.0°W - LyngSat Maps
Your dish size could definitely be part of the problem.

I hate to spoil your wishes but the Italian Mux from Challenger has been somewhat abandoned for months, Lyngsat list has not been updated to reflect that several channels have changed or dissappeared , channels Include Dr. Dish and a couple of Italian channels that have only audio or are pitch black (what's up with the maintenance) , anyways there are still a few Italian channels but not as good as what was there last year.
