I have a motorised ku band dish and also a 10ft c band dish
Now I want to connect the 2 dsihes to one DVB receiver.
The cband is going to have a v box.
My question is can onehave a switch before the motors?
if yes what switch is the best?
Diseqc or 22khz switches?
you can put the switch before the motor on the c band dish as it uses a different line for the motor shouldn't matter what switch you use what ever is the most comfortable to you.

Run the line from the receiver to the motor on the Ku dish. From there run it into your switch. Out to the C Band dish and the Ku dish.

No idea. If it were me I would not be running two dishes and trying to drive both from one receiver. Instead of creating a problem why not simply change the feedhorn on the big dish to a BSC type unit? As long as the holes in the mesh are small it will work just fine for Ku. Problem solved.
