What dish is this? (DishNet or Directv?)
What dish is this? (It's a wide oval shape)
Can anyone tell from the LBNFs?

Looks like the new style DTV SlimLine, with the KA-band.

it's on a rental property at my brother's place in TX.
He was going to take it down and toss it.
I might switch from cable to directv at some point in my life.
Is it worth shipping this from TX to NY?

I would check the price on the dish then the shipping charges if the shipping is less I would say go for it.

Won't DTV provide the dish free as a part of your installation?

Wow, didn't know that. It's been about 3 years ago, I wanted CCTV 9, which required a Phase III dish so they told me, and they upgraded me for free. Then, later when I bought a DVR, they came in and put in a free 6x8 multiswitch. Anyhow, I don't think OP is a sub yet, cause he talked about switching from cable to DTV.
Guess they aren't being so generous anymore.
