Adding Satellite

Hello, I'm interested in adding a ?satellite feed? to my reciever, the lifetime classic. Anyway I am not familiar with howto do this so a good walk through will do me good

I'm interested in trying to get Galaxy 28 at 89.0 degrees W

Not even sure where to put the 89.0 ...

Add new tp:
tp freq
polarization
symbol rate

Anybody interested in giving a good walk through on howto doing this would be much appreciated. Thanks !!

no problem

I had a post a while back with the satellite names and what "most" boxes show them as

Quote:
Alot of us post just the satellite where something is and some of us forget what satellite is where

Here is a list of the most common and where they are

72 AMC6
74 H2 (formerly SBS6)
79 AMC5
83 AMC9
85 AMC16 (formerly AMC2)
87 AMC3
89 G28 (formerly IA8 and T4)
91 G11
93 G26 (formerly IA6/T6)
95 G3
97 G25 (formerly IA5/T5)
99 G16 (formerly G4)
101 AMC4
103 AMC1
107.3 ANIK F1
111.1 ANIK F2
113 SATMEX6
116.8 SATMEX 5
121 G23 (formerly IA13)**
123 G10
125 G14 (formerly G5)
127 G13/H1
129 G27 (formerly IA7/T-7)
131 AMC11**
133 G15** (formerly G1)
135 AMC10**
137 AMC7**
139 AMC8**

The satellites with ** are C-band only (yes IA13 has KU Band but Dish owns it). Also, I did not put in DBS slots because most of us know where they are
