RetroJams is back on 123W, but no audio

RetroJams is back on 123W

The TP is 12114V/4340/3-4
Audio PID: 102E

I cannot configure any of my STB's for 102E, only 102 although I'm not sure if this is the problem.

I get Video and Audio on all channels on 123W, except for RetroJams which only displays Video and no Audio on any of my STB's

Any suggestions and is anyone else having the same problem?

You may have to manually add the TP and then scan as it didn't show up for me, even with a Blind Scan. I had to add the TP

It's in AC3 audio. You will need a stereo that decodes Dolby Digital.

also a note on 102E the E means it is English so the audio pid would be 102.English and as satnut stated it is in AC3 format.

Ok I have to ask if you really get audio on all the channels on 123? There are some of the Spanish language channels that are AC3. If you are not getting all the channels audio it would be a decoder problem as stated in previous responses. If you truly are getting all audio on 123 I would guess you have a decoder connected and the problem would lie elsewhere. You did not state what your STB's are so I have no way of knowing what you are doing. There is a Telefuturo channel on 123 that is AC3 and I believe a Univision also. Check all the Spanish language channels for audio and let us know.

This is true. According to Channel Master, Daystar, KWBF, KAMT, KEYU, and Retrojams are all in AC3. My first scan of G10R found a few channels that must have been temporary. At least 1 of those has no video or audio. If I tune to this channel then to Retrojams, I get no audio. If I tune the other way and am on an active channel, I do get audio. I cannot say this is your problem, but, it was mine.

StevenS will become famous soon enough
Dolby Digital 5.1 audio (AC-3)

You need some kind of converter box for those types of audio broadcasts whereby you can take the optical output of the FTA receiver into the decoder and get an analoge audio output to be connected to a sound system. There used to be a headphone system for $30 you could get on e-bay. I have one but they are no longer available. The easiest way is to connect the optical output of the satellite receiver to a stereo that has optical inputs. The receiver will decode the AC-3 audio if you have that input set for optical (digital) input. Consult your owners manual of your stereo. Most do now a days.
