Year Old System, Lost Signal

I recently went to fire up the dish after several months of doing other things and it seems I have no signal at all.

I have a fortec universal LNB with a Mercury 2 receiver running the factory bin from 7/16/07 (V0153). I tried getting signal on the receiver and then hooked up my satellite finder with no luck. I double checked te positioning on the motor and dish and they were both ok. On my true south sat, I picked up a few trasponders but no signal. Every consecutive scan got nothing. I also checked the voltage on the coax that goes into the LNB from the rceiver and it is getting 18 volts, and I used new RG-6 coax with new compression fittings on each end both in and out.

I'm thinking bad LNB, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any more ideas for me before I shelled out the money for a new one.

Thanks

I woudl be thinking the same thing BUT if you have a box that couples antenea and sat check it. I got a call form a neighbor this weekend and they had no signal. Got to tracking and found a box that brought the 2 together and the cat had knocked it off the tv and it switched.
