Forcing a KU LNB to C-Band

I heard that there is a possibility of setting the L.O. to 5150 on a Ku LNB and maybe getting some c-band channels. I tried it at home but the results were inconclusive.......... Maybe another receiver would work. Again, it's all experimental. Any comments?

don't think it will work due to the difference in freq range between a c and ku lnbf.
