Change In Plan

I've decided not to run (use) the Ku-band LNB side of my BUD satellite dish with my Fortec Star Mercury II for FTA. For now I'll just have the C-band LNB for my DSR922 and the FTA receiver. Later I will install the 36" Fortec 90m dish and motor for my Ku-band satellite system.

I'm ready to set-up the Fortec Mercury receiver, a #PV23-402 Hi Feq 2 way splitter, and a #DS21 2 way DiSEqC switch. I'm running a RG-6 direct from the C-band LNB to the #PV23-402 splitter, from the splitter, a RG-6 direct to the DSR922 unit.
Question: Due to the fact I'm not using the Ku-LNB, do I need the DiSEqC switch? Just run the RG-6 direct from the splitter to the Fortec Mercury receiver?

You will not need the DiSEqC switch at this time. You want the DC Pass leg on the splitter going to the 4DTV receiver. The non pass side goes to the DVB receiver.

That was my thinking on how it would work, elgemedlf. Thanks for the assistance.

My run on the RG-6 coax from the splitter, which will be next to the DSR922, will be 25' to the Fortec Mercury receiver, which will be located in the den.
