Coolsat 6000 FTA Receiver

Is the Coolsat 6000 FTA receiver as good one to buy?

Don't want to pay for one that's low on the totem pole.

The 6000 is a good reciever. But they stop making them back in June. I would go with a newer model like the 6100.

Also one thing to keep in mind, the Coolsat 6000 is supported by Channel Master (Channel Editor Software), but the newer 6100 is not supported.

The Coolsat 6000 does not have a manufacturers warranty if you buy it now, the 6100 will have a manufacturers warranty.

I have had a Pansat 3500 for over two years and I recently got the Coolsat 6000 and I am very happy with it, I still like the Pansat 3500 for a few things (especially the signal meter).
