can't pick up white springs?

Hello everyone,

I am not able to pick up white springs tv. I have a 100cm dish, with invacom lnb and mercury II receiver. I get about 70 signal quality and 80 level on other transponders on that sat, but I can only get about 25 or 30 signal quality and no level for the transponder that white springs is on. I used a signal meter to try to make sure that I am tuned in as best I can. What else can I do to improve the signal?
I have certainly found that many of my issues are mostly caused by error and lack of understanding, so if you can help me figure this out I would surely appreciate it.

What are your settings for that channel. White Springs moved a bit back and if you are going by lyngsat (unless they have updated) you are using the wrong freq's. A blind scan should bring it in providing you have correct alignment.

Wink I hope someone helped you with WSTV

If no one helps with your question, the guy who built the uplink is very helpful. E-mail Ed at wpgs840@aol.com

BTW, WSTV is now in Asia on the Philippine Satellite: Agila2 Orbital position: 146E Transponder: 7 as well as I-A 7.

Wink Guy who built WSTV is helpful

If you have trouble getting WSTV the guy who built the uplink and runs the station is helpful. Ed at wpgs840@aol.com is responsive.

White Springs TV

The day before yesterday, I looked up the spec on their website engineering page: Intelstat Americas 7 (T7) @ 129.0. 11964H2920. Came up fine. It was still there this a.m.

Do This

Get an extra phone and call your house and have the person tell you the signal quality while you're outside moving the azimuth and elevation settings. That way you can maximize your signal strength. Also don't forget you have to skew the lnb a little depending on your location. I had the hardest time at first finding white springs and when I found I had no problem adjusting for a peak signal.
