1 Meter PrimeStar Motor?

I got an older style primestar dish the 1 meter dish that everybody around here thought it was looking at the telephone cable in the ground to get signal. Any chance there might be a motor that will work with that dish without any mods? It has a bracket on the lnbf that looks like it will hold my first fta lnbf. Had it in the backyard so long... got to be some good use for it!!

Not sure what size pipe but it looks almost like c-band size... it's bigger then 2" I haven't messure it to see.

If anything I should be able to use it as a fixed dish.. for some faint sat..

I used a HH-120 on mine. The only MOD I had to make was to take a piece of pipe to make an adapter sleeve to fit the OD of the motor shaft and ID of the post mount of the prime star. As I remember, it was a piece of 1 1/2" schedule 40 pipe and then I slotted it lengthwise to allow compression. Been in the air for a couple of years now.

I don't have my primestar motorized. It seemed to be a bit heavy for the SG2100, but I guess that HH-120 is a more heavy duty motor.
I just have my primestar mounted on a log sitting on the ground, and I manually aim it at different sats. For many months, I had it aimed at AMC3 for PBS, but then I needed a dish that could see G26 during the NFL preseason, so I moved it there. I guess I'll move it back to the PBS sat again now.

I kinda thought it was a little heavy for SG100. I guess I need to get a small pole and and toy with it some here and there.

Been using the STAB HH100 for awhile on my Primestar 1M. Shimmed up the mast with a piece of PVC pipe - works great!

Are we talking about the newer oval Primestar dishes that look more like the Dish Network superdish or are we talking about the rounder Primestar dishes that was first installed? I can't tell from the picture very well but it looks like the one that is pictured is one of the Primestar dishes that is oval like dish network's superdish.

I'm new to FTA Satellite stuff and I am currently doing alot of research and I have been wondering how well one of the big round Primestar dishes would do.
