I am kinda new too but I think it will work since the longitude of the sats geographical position is the same whether you are north or south of the equator. What is your latitude? What is your magnetic variation? Once you have both of these you should be able to hit the satellite.

The other item to check into is "Beam" of the sat. This can be found at LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite. While checking beam watch the tp numbers for that channel. If they are 4 digit they are C Band and require a large dish. If they are 5 digit they are Ku and the system you posted should work fine. They also need a F indicator which is "free"

Honestly, that does not apply for your location. You have to find out whiuch satellites carry channels you want and if those satellites are covering your country. Then you have to make sure if it is c-band, ku-band and DVB or some other format. That will determine what size dish and equipment you need.

No, Chinasat 6B is too far from you, it's below horizon...
According to lyngsat, you can get some channels from China on C-band from Intelsat 9: Free TV from China - LyngSat
