AMC 16 moving East

Is there a reason why AMC 16 still moving East? I thought it was supposed to replace AMC 2 at 85 dgs. Is Lyngsat not up to date AGAIN?

I think the simple answer is that probably it ISN'T still moving east. I've seen this before. Lyngsat is probably using Spacetrack KEPs to plot it's position, and for geosync satellites, they only update those maybe once a week, so if you have KEPs for when a sat is moving, then they stop it's motion, but you're still using the KEPs which think it's moving, the calculated position will look like it's still moving until they update the KEPs. I predict that in a few days, it will suddenly jump back to it's actual position.
