Direcway Dish

I have an oval dish (old Direcway) that is 28" high by 39" wide. I removed the VSAT (transmitter part) of the dish and LNB. Does any one here have experience with this type of dish for FTA and how would you go about mounting a linear LNB to the end? Would the VSAT be useful to someone else for a different application?

I've read somewhere that the direcway LNB is a standard linear type...can't hurt to try, if possible..

Yes but the problem is that it won't do polarity changes via voltage (13-18) I think that it is just stuck on verticle polarity from the looks of the feed horn.

Iceberg mentioned using a DirecPC on another forum, he may have an insite on how to replace the LNB, also check PM.
