One dish multiple Receivers

Can I use a dish network 34 switch to connect up to 4 FTA receiver to 1 motorized dish?will all the receiver control the motor?or if I loop the receivers from one to another will it work with the motor?

There may be a couple of complications. First, the DP34 isn't really the right switch to use; it requires band-stacked LNBFs. An ordinary 2x4 or 3x4 multi-switch would be a better choice. Then, normal 13/18V polarity switching LNBFs can be used.

Second, where does the motor go on the coax, between LNBF and DP34 or between DP34 and receiver? Between DP34 and receiver would work just fine (assuming the DP34 is appropriate for your LNBFs), but then only one receiver will be able to control the motor.

Between LNBF and DP34 seems like the right place, but it may be problematic. The receivers may send conflicting signals to the motor, and if there is more than just one LNBF connected, you can get into issues of committed versus uncommitted Diseqc command sequences. If it works, great, but if not, don't complain.

a DP34 wont work. You would use a 2x4 or 3x4 multiswitch. Only one reciever can control the motor in this case. One of the outputs would go to the motor then to the reciever. The rest would go directly to the recievers
