I don't see version 2.16 any more, but you can get 2.17 ....

Thank you for your info.

I got ver 2.17 from website, and I upload it to my LIFETIME receiver.
And this is where the problem begin.
The new firmware v2.17 has less feature than the original firmware

Any thing wrong with the current firmware you have now? If it works fine , I would not update the new firmware unless it fixs bugs with the current firmware. Uploading new firmware to the receiver is a bit risky. I have seen lots of people locks their receiver when trying the upgrade.

My suggestion:
Please Do NOT update your firmware to ver. 2.17
