it can be done if you have a old mount to hook it to won't be easy but can be done. would recommend finding a polar mount dish if you want to add a dish mover.

nope haven't done it myself to many c band dishes in good shape just sitting around the neighbor hood to try and make a dish fit a different mount.

BTW, when this discussion started, I looked on the Fortec site, and couldn't find any mention of this version of the dish. Only the fixed mount one was shown.

Anyway, nice looking mount, a bit on the flimsy side, but that's all you need for that size dish. It looks like it would be easy to set up with an inclinometer, since there are flat surfaces to measure inclination and declination.

However I do have a question, in that I don't see any place to attach an actuator? Or hasn't that been attached yet? (I know the actuator isn't attached, but I mean the mounting points for it.)

That's what I was talking about. Ie the Fortec site only shows the fixed dishes, and I can't find any mention of a polar mount. I'm wondering if this polar mount is something aftermarket that is being made to work with the Fortec dishes, and not actually a Fortec product?

No it is the new polar mount. They just started making it.It came from fortecstar headquaters in canada. They also sell the 240 cm dish in polar mount. They both can be bought from a dealer in the USA.I did not list where i bought it because this forum is for sadoun website.

I did not attach the actuator because i set the dish up in my living room. The pictures i posted are from inside my house. There is another plate that attaches to the ring brace for the actuator.I will post picture of dish with actuator tommorrow
