wrong program

I'm a new guy I've been trying to set up my new satellite. Fortec Star, lifetime classic na reciever. a standard lbfn. having a lot of trouble. My neighbor has a different satellite dish. he has his working. while trying to help he attached his dish to my reciever. instant picture. however when attached to his reciever he was watching T-5Ku, Vietnamchannel 4. the satellite i saw was 1A5 the arbic channels. is my reciever defective, or how can i fix it? HELP

IA5 is the new name for T-5, ie same satellite. Re the specific channel, there are hundreds of channels on that sat. You just happened to scan a different transponder or something. Ie nothing wrong, nothing to fix.

Fortec classic on IA5 has lnb type universal by default. If you're using a standard lnb then you need to set lnb type to standard.

on the classic, change the LNB setting from "UNI" to 10750
