--Hi, all. I am trying to set my friend up with FTA, but I don't know too much about it. He has a 10 foot mesh
satellite dish for TVRO and I was wondering if this LNB would work (for FTA, I mean)?

--He has a regular
C band LNB on there with the servo motor that changes from Horizontal to Vertical. Will this kind of LNB work as well for FTA, or not? Do you know what kind of polarization FTA satellite signals are? For some reason, I was thinking that FTA signals were circular or something other than H/V, so that made me think that a TVRO LNB would not work properly.
--If the above LNB will work, great! I would like to get him set up at a fair price, but properly of course. Thanks!
P.S.
What kind of dish mover would he need to use with his "big dish"? The
actuator he has on there now will not hook up to an FTA receiver.
