Smile Echostar 9 121.0 Degree Installation Setup.

Txlink

I have the NEW Fortec Star Mercury Star II DVB Receiver. I have attempted numberous times to connect (MY TRUE SOUTH ARC) to Satellite Echostar 9 at 121.0 Degrees West, but haven't with the USALS automatic setting. My HH-90 Motor manuvers to 30 degrees Clockwise for the Echostar 9 at 121.0 West location setting. I notice my 90cm Dish rotates slightly horizontal on the move to Echostar 9 satellite.

I just setup a new pole Friday, checked it for 90 plum from all sides. The pole is very level...

With my old pole I set my receiver to Intelsat Americas 5 at 97.0. Degrees West on the Mercury II and the 90cm Dish (My Longitude 96.1 West & Latitude 33.5 North) and I connected to Echostar 9 at 121.0 Degrees West and also got (my program transponder) for Persian Entertainment Frequency:11867, Transponder: TP7, Polarity: Vertical, Symbol Rate: 22000, Video PID: 2360, Audio PID: 2320, PCR PID: 0, and all program transponders active on Intelsat Americas 5 at 97.0 Degree West with a perfect digital picture.

I've notice several problems with the Mercury Star II receiver. Memory and motor functions!!! I'm not certain but my receiver maybe the cause if not my pole location. I can not get a signal with the Echostar 9 Receiver Setup for True South Arc. My equipment has all the signal strenght in the range og 45 and upto 62 with this setting. But, absolutely no signal here!!!

The Echosta 9 121.0 West setup could be my FAULT!!! Difficult to establish the satellite connection when the 90cm Dish makes a move to Echostar 9 location... My receiver has no signal in the horizontal position. But it always connects in the Vertical position to Echostar 9 at 121.0 Degrees West. So, I know this is my True South and my Arc position for North Texas...

I have several small problems with the DiSEqC 1.2 Manual STAB HH-90 Motor Movements. In the Move position for West movement the Motor actually Moves (Eastward). But, it doesn't move until I first use the (Step Move).

The Mercury II's memory Malfunctions at different time...I have contact Sadoun requesting RMA authorization form for return of this unit for repairs.

I notice the 90cm dish using my AccuTra22Pro Satellite Meter will find Echostar 121.0 Degrees West easily in the Vertical position on Intelsat Americas 5 97.0 Degrees, but not on the setting I need to set my (True South Arc) which is Echostar 9 at 121.0 Degrees West. The STAB HH-90 Motor should be set on 30 Degrees (Clockwise) and rotates slightly horizontal for this particular setup. The HH-90 Motor sets itself to 30 degree (Clockwise everytime) and I have set this setting Manually using DiSEqC 1.2 Step Move to Echostar 9 at 30 degrees West. The angle looks identical on 30 degree HH-90 Motor setting (Clockwise).

So, why can't I establish connection on this setting for Echostar 9 at 121.0 Degree West?

Any Echostar 9 121.0 Degrees West setup assistance is appreciated.

Thank You,

Txlink

I am not 100% certain

someone didnt read the rules
We do not tolerate signal theft here.

Want your channels back? There is a thing called subscribing to them. Works pretty good. Call 800-333-Dish and they can help you

I lost all my channels last night and the way things are going won't get them back for a month either. Do not think 1800dish can help on this one. Factory reset on the receiver and just starting to align the 90cm
