Bird Flu

I am enjoying my new FTA TV and got through some time consuming problems, with the good help available here. Now I have another one that is very annoying and not sure if anything can be done.

Seems birds are attracted to perch on top of my dish and do their business so that I get streaks of bird mess running down the dish. A garden hose cleans it up somewhat, but not entirely.

This is not the greatest priority, but wanted to post to see if anyone else has this problem and any cures. As I finish this post, I just happened to look outside and there was a bird on each one of my 3 dishs.

Ken

Might be a job for King's Control Rain Shield. I'd expect that a coating would make the dish pretty slippery and difficult to adhere to. A hosing might clean it right off . I have 4 cats and recommend trying the Rain Shield. Dem cats is lazy most the time.

Hi guys and thanks for your input. Rain shield and cats seem to be my options. If I could find an attack cat that would stay in the dish area, believe me I would take him in a minute.

Neighbors would have me taken away if they saw me with shotgun across my lap in the back yard (maybe rightfully so).

Oh well, on to more serious stuff, as UPS delivered my circular/linear LNB (Invacom QPH-031). Heavy rain stopped installation this afternoon, but not tonight.

Later
Ken
