mounting fortec dish on sg2100

My first time delving into the motorized dish, to try and get rid of my satellite farm

Maybe I should have asked when I bought the dish however....

The Dish is Fortec FC-110 and the motor a Digipower sg2100.

What I am looking at is the Dish bracket seems to be made for vertical pole mounting as it has a notch on the bracket to prevent (I presume) the bracket from sliding down the pole.
The motor is a downward mount and this requires the bracket to be rotated in order to mount to the motor shaft.
Unless I am totally losing it ( I am retired but not wandering the streets yet) I dont seem to be able to get the dish aligned according to the meagre paper diagram. Is there a way or am I losing it

Hello, welcome to the forum!
Have you seen these sample pictures here:
http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Products/S...ROL/sample.htm

They show Satcontrol motor though. This motor(which I happened to have) has a hole in it's pole for push-through bolt, connecting dish bracket very secure.
What is the difference between those pictures abd your setup?

You will need to bend that stop back on that bracket. That way, it will not be on the way of the motor shaft. Like you said the bracket was made for top mounting onto a pole or motors with up pointing shafts like the HH100 or HH120.

OK, I shall do just that, it will make life a lot simpler, I was leaning to that but wanted to make sure.

Thanks
