Fortec Star Platinum NA

Okay well I picked up my life and much to my other halfs digust moved all of my sat dishes and gear and have re-assembled them finally in our new location.

So now begins my story of Whoa. My original setup was a coship reciever and a C band 8 foot bud being controlled by an Aston DISEqC dish mover. and an SG-2100 with a 1.2 meter dish mounted to it. These dishes ran through a DISEqC switch to the reciever. Now once I moved here I hooked the whole setup together, install the longer runs neccesary for the new location. Low and behold It works, generally. Sometimes the dishes act in unison (not good) sometimes not. Then my SG-2100 starts to fail won't respond starts to track to odd location. So I decide to test the SG and sure enough it is having issues and doesn't want to track on the four port switch.

This I see as an opportunity to upgrade. So I buy a new Fortec star Platinum NA a new 4 port DISEqc switch and for grins the STAB HH 120. I get my new equipment in and now the C band tracks fine but the stab bounces around 5 degrees either way when sent a signal at what ever point it is at but never goes anywhere. So I put the stab on another port and bang the same result. I put the stab on the reciever alone and it tracks fine.

So I need opinion as to what I am missing in this puzzle.

Rainman where would I be without your truely shattering insite. Once again you cut to the heart of the situation peeling away the layers to reveal the putrid heart of the situation.
