deleting channels from a fortec start mercur II

I just took delivery today of this unit.

So far, everything seems to be working okay, except for being able to delete unwanted channels.

Pushing the blue button (as requested in the instructions) seems to either lock channels, unlock channels, or changes the highlighted channel.

Any ideas on how to solve this pesky problem?

Thanks.

Mike

don't own this receiver yet. but if you go under channel list in the menu should see a edit function this should offer a delete function there. it does on my ultra.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Actually, I was in the Channel List/Channel Edit area.

(edited to add) I got the deleting process figured out...finally...now for the next problem:

I've noticed that the clock runs incredibly slow. I set the clock at 4:15 yesterday afternoon and an hour later it was running four minutes slow. This is not going to help me when I'm trying to get the machine to turn on for the VCR to do its work. ;-)

Mike
