AMC 1 - NBC Channels -- Audio only or also has Video

Are the NBC channels supposed to have Video/audio on AMC1? Sometimes I only get Audio but sometimes I do get an Audio/Video picture of the New York City local station.

On AMC1, 103 Degrees West
Using 11840, Horiz, SR=26670

I have a Fotec Star 768 receiver. Also, when a Lyngsat chart shows that a channel is trasmitted in NTSC instead DVB is it possible for the Fortec Star 768 to translate the NTSC?

These channel are 4:2:2 and are intended for commercial reception only. Receivers that can decode these channels cost in the $1000s

So does that mean that a Satellite receiver like Motorola's DTV receiver couldn't receive the signals. I realize that the DTV receiver is not over $1000 as you mentioned.

Are you talking about the Motorola DSR-905 Sidecar? It will not receive 4:2:2 signals. You need the commercial receivers (also by Motorola) and they are $2,000 and up like Sadoun says. Even then you would need a key from the signal provider to view any DigiCipher encrypted channels.
