I am going to get this dish and I do not no what the best lnb is for what i need,,,,I would like to recieve 119 degree sat. do I need a special lnb?
do I need a circular lnb or is linear lnb ok?

For 119 W (Echostar 7 / DirecTV 5), you'll need an LNBF with circular polarization. If you are also getting an HH motor, you'll need a dual (or quad) LNBF with both circular and linear polarization. If you're only pointing at 119 W, then you'll only need a circular LNBF.

safeshow, that depends on what's right for you. Start here:

You've got some reading to do...

The type of LNBF you need (or want) would also depend on what type of receiver(s) you have.

Just want to make sure that you are aware that the channels on that sat are mostly scrambled.
