not working at all help

HEY EVERYBODY
i have a fortec for about 3 years it work fine about 2 months ago it start loosing the setting and i have to start all over but when im done scaning and get all the channel on t5 when it reboot it get stack and it say boot but it doesnt go nowhere the image go from boot on the screen to yellow than boot again i have to leave it on for few hours and try again but no luck if any body have any idea what going on pls let me know how to fix it .

It sounds like the firmware (program code) inside the receiver is messed up.

About the only thing you can do is try to load in the code you can download from Fortec:

http://www.fortecstar.com/downloads/

You'll need the appropriate cable from a computer to the receiver, and try to update the firmware.

If that doesn't work, I'd guess at that point your receiver had failed, and you need a new one.
