Yes, you can add more satellites to the list although the factory list is pretty extensive. What satellites do you need that aren't there? Go to www.lyngsat.com to get the information. Then you need to enter the valid transponders for each new satellite. Tell us what satellites you want and we will show you how to enter them.

The factory sat list may be extensive for people with KU only, but it is quite deficient, as is the software in general, if you have a C/Ku system. I've had to add C band only sats, and have had to add a second satellite for the C-band side of C/Ku satellites, and this generally involves deleting or re-naming un-used sats. Ie nearly half my satellites have had to have been added.
My wish list for the Fortec software engineers would be the capability of doing C and Ku on the same stored satellite name, ie which would require changing LO freq AND DiseqC settings depending on the transponder freq.
But I realize that will never happen.

Most receivers we carry, and I admit we are not heavily into Fortec, have a very good list of C-band and KU-band satellites prestored. Some receivers have satellites that we can never get here in North America but they are in there anyways.
