Fortec Star DVB-786-v3

I have just receive this model above from a family member that passd on and i was wondering if some of the more experienced programmers could pass on the software information needed or site in which i could abtain the loaders needed, so I could attempt to get this up and running. I do have experience with the Pansat 2500. I hope you can all help me.

What channels are you trying to receive? The factory software should be OK for FTA applications.

I have a 786NA, and fortec did release an update for transponders.'
Since it doesn't have a blind scan function, you have to either rely on the pre-programmed settings, or add new ones yourself.
Or update the factory programming with updated trasponder lists.

Go over to
http://www.fortecstar.com/downloads/
and look at whats available for your model.

Note the warning on the main page about the 786 model!
