Storing Diseqc settings

I'm using the Fortec Lifetime sat system. I'm wondering how do you store the Diseqc positions associated with each satellite. I'm able locate sat positions by nudging the east and west positions via the Diseqc menu settings but I just cant seem to store them. The manual suggests to press ok on the nudge menu item and that will store them but for some reason or another this does not do the trick. Pretty please help.

Another concern is: The deafult sat settings from 0-26 seem to be preprogramed. How do I access this area?

i didnt store them using the LifeTime unit but I did it using the USALS feature which found my sats coordinates automatically. Once you get one or two the others just fall into place...I'm getting GREAT singals...95 to 99% signal...I cant complain. The picture is as clear as my local channels

Do other fortec systems not have this manual USALS locator? I have a 786v3 and Stab120HH and can't seem to get it to find anything other than Telstar 5, that I located myself upon install.

There could be several things wrong with your dish/mount installations:

~ Your Due South is off
~ Dish Elevation is wrong
~ DISH/Mount/Post are not on the same straight line poiting south
~ You are not using LIVE transponders when checking for signal quality
~ You entered the wrong Long/Lat into your receiver
