trouble downloading

Here my problem just cant figure it out. when i try to search for new channels doesnt matter which satellite i go to it finds new channels then it re boots after picking up new channels.but when i check out the new channels its not there. everything was fine last week now all of a sudden this is happening. I even tryed deleting some channels and even unused satellites and that didnt help either. One more question on tel 5 is trt still on the air lost that channel and cant get it back other channels ok. Also lost nasa channel on dish 119 but other channels ok. tryed realigning satellite but didnt help.

what receiver do you have?

and yes.. TRT is still broadcasting FTA

NASA TV switched some stuff.... scan in tp 12370 V 20000 7/8 to find NASA.

receiver is model fortecstar dvb786v3
I checked to see if nasa frequency 12370 v 20000 7/8 was on the transponder list and it is also i have strong signal and strong quality and yet no picture. As for trt on tel 5 there is no signal or quality no green bar. this just happened 3 weeks ago not sure what happened is the receiver corrupt? thinking about realigning the satellite but when i try this i usually lose one station for the other.My last resort is to delete all and reinstall satellites one at a time but then im affraid to do .As i said before its not downloading the new channels,it might not give me anything.what a terrible thought.

well i finally got my trt to download plus other channels to work,what a mess,heres what i did and wasnt looking forward to it.I deleted everything and started from scratch.i deleted and not losing i left the dish aiming at tel 5 so when i start searching for new channels i didnt have to adjust anything on the dish because it was aiming at tel 5,so that made it easy for me to pick up new channels.And guess what it started loading new channels and trt was there,what a relief that was to see it giving me new channels.Bottom line is something happened to the receiver just got corrupted,maybe with all the bad weather and lighting it thru the receiver off some how.But deleting and reinstalling brought every thing back to working order.

well many times channels move all around different transponders and change there VPID number therefore forcing you to do another scan. Im glad you solved your problem!
