How to get wild feeds?

I have a Fortec Ultra, 30" dish and motor. I get good signal om AMC 5 when I do a blind scan I get all channels except the tp's for wild feeds

any suggestions?

With many/most "feed" channels, there is nothing there much of the time.

With many/most "feed" channels, there is nothing there much of the time.
I realize this but the tp isn't scanned, shouldn't i have the tp and when there is something the channel will be there

No. The transponder will only appear if there is something on it. So if you scan during quiet times, nothing will be saved. Also, feeds use different symbol rates and polarities all the time. They change constantly. So even though you may have several transponders saved from an earlier scan, they wont always work again. You should run a blind scan constantly to get the latest feeds.

AMC5 is a good feed satellite. The most active times are 5-9am Eastern time, and 9-11pm.

Thank you I didn't realize that you had to scan all the time.
